Here is some information on finding temporary accommodation in Berlin, along with some tips:

ESN Berlin

As soon as your internship is accepted, you can post a notification that you are looking for accommodation through the social media channels (Instagram, website, WhatsApp) of the ESN Berlin (Erasmus Social Network) student community. There is a group called “Accommodation & Search” in the ESN Berlin WhatsApp group where you can actively communicate with people who are looking to rent or sublet their place temporarily.

TU Berlin Guesthouse

As another alternative, you can contact the TU Berlin Guesthouse by filling out a form on their website. They will get back to you about availability shortly. For example, after completing my first month of internship, they emailed me about an opening for the second month. It’s a good idea to stay in touch with them for any last-minute availability.
